Purushottam Chand
Co-Founder & CTO
The architect behind the machine. Purushottam turns hard problems into clean, secure systems — engineering everything from dynamic front-ends to the SaaS core. Security isn't a feature he adds; it's how he builds. If it ships from Tech Break, it's built to hold under pressure.

THIS MONTH'S SPOTLIGHT
FEATURED · EXAMPLE CORP
Stored XSS in the user profile renderer
JUNE 2026
The vulnerability
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw let attacker-controlled markup execute in other users' browsers when viewing a crafted profile field.
What was affected
Any user who viewed a malicious profile could have had their session token or actions hijacked in the authenticated app context.
How it was fixed
Output encoding on all user-supplied fields plus a strict Content-Security-Policy that blocks inline script execution.
What developers can learn
Never trust stored input. Encode on output, validate on input, and let CSP be your safety net — exactly how we build at Tech Break.
⚠ Placeholder example. All real Security Spotlight entries are sourced strictly from public, responsibly-disclosed vulnerability reports. Tech Break never publishes private or unreported vulnerabilities.
